Cabell County magistrate candidate arrested

HUNTINGTON -- Huntington police arrest a former candidate for Cabell County magistrate for the second time on drug charges.
Sunday evening, officers arrested Amy Walker Irwin, who used to use the last name Daugherty, at 17th Street and Doulton Avenue.

She is charged with misdemeanor drug possession. She posted a $5,000 bond and was released from custody.

Last October, Irwin was arrested and charged with six felony counts of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. At that time, she was also charged with bribery of a police officer.
